Let’s keep our Welsh Judo community connected – safely
Due to the pandemic our Welsh Judo community hasn’t been able to join together in person, meaning we’ve relied on the Internet and online resources to keep us connected. While there are countless benefits to connecting online, it is vital we all stay safe while doing so. That’s why we’re supporting Safer Internet Day 2021 on the 9th of February.
Safer Internet Day inspires a national conversation about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically, and creatively. This year we’re celebrating with the theme ‘An internet we trust – exploring reliability in the online world’.
Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the celebration sees thousands of organisations get involved to promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.
Safer Internet Day 2021 celebrates the amazing range of information and opportunities online, and its potential to inform, connect and inspire us, whilst also looking at how young people can separate fact from fiction.
Use the hashtag #SaferInternetDay and tag the UK Safer Internet Centre social media account in all of your Safer Internet Day social media posts to ensure that we can re-share them and to help you to take part in the global conversation!
