Over 350 judoka are competing at the National Centre for Sports and Culture in Luxembourg to be crowned Junior European Judo Champion.
Welsh judoka Oliver Barratt will compete in the -100kg category. Both fighters have recently returned from the Paralympic Games in Tokyo where they were training partners to Paralympic Champion Chris Skelley and silver medallist Elliot Stewart.
In Pool D, Barratt will face Ruslan Nasirli (AZE) in the opening round. Nasirli was a bronze medallist earlier this year at the Coimbra Junior European Cup.
Also representing British Judo is Lisa Rivers who has been selected as a referee for the Championships.
Preliminary rounds start 10am (BST) on Saturday 11th September.
Final Block starts at 15:00 (BST) Saturday.
