For several years, WJA membership fees have remained unchanged. However, the cost of delivering high-quality judo across Wales has continued to rise in recent years, including costs associated with member services, safeguarding, governance, workforce support, development, and administration.
Despite these increases, our updated fees remain below the equivalent rates of the British Judo Association, while also bringing us more closely in line with the other home nation judo bodies.
A significant benefit for our members and clubs is that grading will remain free of charge.
The new annual membership fees will be:
JudoTots (ages 3-4): £7
Under 8s: £20
Under 16s: £30
Over 16s Competitive: £35
Over 16s Recreational: £22
