Following the recent Welsh Government announcement by First Minister Mark Drakeford please find our updated statement below.
The Coronavirus pandemic has caused dramatic changes in our sport and circumstances over the last few months, and we appreciate that these can be confusing and difficult times with lots of uncertainty and unanswered questions.
Welsh Government's First Minister, Mark Drakeford has announced from Monday 1st June 2020, two households in the same local area will be able to meet outdoors. In doing this however people must follow social distancing and strict hand hygiene practices to control the spread of the virus.
Welsh Government say local means “not travelling more than five miles from home to reduce the risk of coronavirus spreading from one area to another”.
Please keep in mind as clubs based in Wales to follow the Welsh Government Guidelines. We will be continuing to work with colleagues across the sport in the UK and Wales to make decisions and provide clarity and guidance when appropriate.
We reassure you we are continuing to support its members, clubs, coaches and athletes in any way it possibly can at this difficult time. Our office is still open remotely, and all general enquiries can still be made via email to office@welshjudo.com.
Once again, please continue to follow Welsh Government guidelines by following links and websites:

Stay safe and well.
