UK Coaching Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop (Online Workshop)

Sport Wales are offering 8 FREE Safeguarding and Protecting Children Courses to coaches and volunteers who are active at a Sport or Physical activity club based in Wales.

This workshop is a online workshop suitable for coaches and welfare officers. This course is open to sports outside of judo.

Accredited by UK Coaching, this workshop will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse and give you the tools and confidence you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career.

Learners must be:

A minimum of 16 years of age to attend the workshop.
16-17 year olds must be accompanied by parent/guardian, coach or mentor (over 18).
Able to communicate effectively in English.
