Welsh Judo are delighted to announce that our Welsh Judo Director Mark Pickering has been elected as an executive member of the Commonwealth Judo Association, with the elections taking place at the Commonwealth Championships in India this week. His term of office will last for four years. Welsh Judo CEO Darren Warner was delighted with the announcement “With judo becoming a core sport in Commonwealth Games competition, Markis well placed through his role as Media Director with the International Judo Federation to drive the Commonwealth movement forward. We’re delighted with the appointment and I wish him every success in the build up the 2022 Commonwealth Games”.
