Four Talent Cymru judoka took part in the 2019 Cadet European Cup , Gyor in Hungary. Brandon James -50kg, Callum Bennett -60kg, Holly Devall -63kg and Rhys Eckley -73kg lead by Performance Pathway Coach Stephen Abberley.

Callum Bennett of Dragons Academy had an impressive five fights finishing in 9th position including wins over Hungary, Poland and Ukraine.

The experience for the Welsh judoka did not end with the competition as the team took part in the training camp. A camp that was attended by over a hundred judoka.
