A strong Welsh contingent travelled to Northern Ireland last weekend as the 2022 Northern Ireland Judo Open took place in the Foyle Arena on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April. The event took place for the first time since 2019, when hundreds of judoka in 11 categories competed at the Waterside venue.

Over 425 competitors took to the mat in the Main Hall, with Wales returning with a plethora of medals. Congratulations to all of the competitors and we would also like express our thanks to everyone at Northern Ireland Judo for another great event.
