It’s been a busy year for Welsh athletes, and it’s only February!

Ollie Barratt showcased excellent judo against a strong lineup of World Class athletes, coming away with Bronze in the Warsaw Euopean Cup. Meanwhile, in the VI German Open, Evie Gormley came home with silver and in the Tunis African Junior Cup, Lola Hodson and Millie Bayliss secured a Gold and Bronze. Lola then went onto to secure Bronze at the African Cup the following weekend.

Over in Denmark, Ashwin Yoganathan took Silver and Lola Hodson secured yet another podium placing; a respectable Silver at the Belgium Open.

Back on home soil, the English Open was another success, with the following results:

Last but not least, congratulations to Ashleigh Barnikel on placing 5th at the Algerian African Open and Mike M, Ganesh B and Owen R for securing medals at the Liverpool Open! 🔥
