We’re looking for an inspiring and experienced leader to take up the role of CEO at the Welsh Judo Association. You’ll lead a small but dedicated team, help shape the future of Welsh Judo, and drive forward our vision of judo as a force for individual and social transformation.
Working closely with the Board of Directors, Sport Wales, and our growing network of clubs and members, this role combines strategic leadership, operational delivery, and cultural development.
- Location: Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff (flexible working arrangements considered)
- Salary: £45,000 – £52,500 (depending on experience)
- Contract Type: Permanent, full-time (37 hours/week)
- Start Date: By negotiation
- Reports To: Chair of the Board of Directors
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience of leading a small to medium-sized business or function
- Strong strategic and financial leadership capabilities
- A commitment to positive culture, wellbeing, and good governance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for sport and the power of judo to make a difference
- No judo experience required – but enthusiasm is essential!
