Welsh Judo would like to express a warm welcome to Masashi Ebinuma as he lands in Wales.

Ebinuma is triple World Champion in judo U66kg, winning the titles in 2011, 2013 and 2014. Ebinuma also won bronze at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games.

He joins coaching Welsh Judo Coaching Team to gain coaching experience for a one year minimum. The 3 x World Champion and 2 x Olympic Bronze Medalist will be based in Cardiff with his wife, IJF World Masters 2013 Champion, Asian Games 2014 Bronze and 2 x All-Japan Judo Champion Kana Abe and two children.
